Shedding

Recently, I came across the work of Lews Baltz, you can see a gallery of his work here on the George Eastman House site.

I know this is not everyones cup of tea, but I do like the simplicity and structure threads than run through Baltz’s imagery, and this has influenced this photo.

Scanned from negative, taken with a Pentax K1000, 50mm lens, f16, t=1/250. Used Ilford HP5 400 asa film.

This is from the the first film developed by myself, so it is something a little special for me.

The shed is located in Maud St, Parkside, South Australia…
