Ebisu
This is taken from the Tokyo Tower and looks towards Ebisu (I think).
In Ebisu, we visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and saw two outstanding exhibitions.
Visions of America Part 1, The Star-Spangled Banner (1839 -1917) was an exhibition of early US photopgraphers. My favourite was William Henry Jackson. His photos of Yellowstone in 1871 contributed to the establishment of the national park in 1872. There is a superb panaroma of Yosemite…
The other exhibition was World Press Photo 2008 which had some harrowing photos from around the world, dominated by conflict and violence.
